LPC - Flow Cell for Absorbance Measurements of Low-concentration Aqueous Samples | |

Request for information
When connected to a spectrometer and a light source, the LPC-flow cell is suitable for measuring liquids with the lowest concentrations. Depending on the application, it can be used to analyse liquids in the ppb-ppt-range. The light is transmitted to a Teflon tube via an optical fiber. The tube serves as a light guide, directing the light to where it is coupled in the receiving wave guide.
The flow cell is available with a standard 50 mm, 100 mm, 500 mm, 1 m or 2 m path length. It has been designed for separate as well as for continuous sample measurements. The LPC has PEEK tube fittings that are chemically inert and corrosion-resistant. This even enables strongly corrosive liquids to be measured. The spectrometer and other periphery devices are connected via SMA connectors. A version allowing integration into a 19" rack (R-LPC) is available as an optional extra.
LPC´s can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as liquid chromatography detection, drinking water analyses, as well as environmental and oceanographic monitoring systems.
