FCR-14-xx-200-2-REF - Reflection Probe with Reference Channel for Applications in the UV/VIS and NIR Range
Request for information
The FCR reflection probe with reference channel is a special probe for the spectral analysis of materials with
a diffuse or direct reflection. Over an SMA connection the light coming from the light source is coupled into a fiber bundle which consists of 12 quartz glass fibers. In a ferrule these 12 illumination fibers are separated into 2 fiber bundles, each consisting of 6 fibers. One fiber bundle is directed to the sample; 6 fibers are directed to a diffuse reflection standard in which the light is being reflected. From the reflection standard, a measurement fiber conducts the light to the Slave channel of the spectrometer. Consequently, intensity fluctuations appearing in the light source can be compensated in order to obtain more optimized spectrum of the sample examined. The probe reflects the gathered light and conducts it over the second measurement fiber to the master channel of the spectrometer which is coupled to the fiber via an SMA connector.
